Trummelbach Falls is a series of ten glacier waterfalls thundering inside a mountain — entirely enclosed, dramatically lit, and unlike anything else in Switzerland; admission is 13 CHF (~$14.50 USD) for adults and 6 CHF ($6.60 USD) for children ages 6-15. Open daily April through November 9am-5pm (July and August until 6pm); closed in winter. The internal lift transports you to the upper sections, but several stairways are required between levels — not stroller-accessible; a structured baby carrier is strongly recommended. The sound and water spray are intense — bring a light rain jacket and warn sensitive kids about the noise before entering. This is one of the most genuinely awe-inspiring natural attractions in the Bernese Oberland and worth every franc for families with kids 6 and up.
