The Long Room library is genuinely awe-inspiring for older kids — a barrel-vaulted hall of 200,000 ancient texts that feels straight out of a fantasy film. Adult admission ~€16; children under 12 free with an adult. Pre-book timed entry online as queues are very long in summer. The cobblestone campus grounds are free to wander at any time.
