This 10km one-way coastal bushwalk is free and one of Sydney’s most scenic trails – plan a one-way trip finishing at Manly for the ferry home. Best suited to kids aged 5+ who can handle uneven terrain; full route takes 3-4 hours at a relaxed family pace. Water and snacks are essential as facilities are limited mid-track. Start early to avoid afternoon heat and nab street parking near the Spit Bridge end before 9am.
