A massive national government park featuring one of the best children’s playgrounds in all of Japan — the “Children’s Forest” section has an enormous rainbow hammock net suspended in the treetops, giant tube slides, and a huge water play area active in summer. The park is so large you can rent bikes or a golf cart to get around. About 40 minutes from central Tokyo via train but absolutely worth it.
