Science World is housed in the iconic geodesic dome on False Creek and is open daily 10am to 5pm with extended hours during summer and BC school breaks. Admission is approximately CAD $30 for adults and CAD $21 for children ages 3-12; kids under 3 are free and annual family memberships around CAD $175 offer excellent value for repeat visitors. The KidSpace gallery is designed specifically for children under 6 and features water tables, build zones, and sensory play — plan at least 45 minutes there alone. The Omnimax Theatre inside the dome costs extra (approximately CAD $6 add-on) and has a loud immersive format that can overwhelm sensitive toddlers but thrills kids 5 and up. Strollers can be stored near the entrance if exhibit halls feel tight; the Main Street-Science World SkyTrain station is a two-minute walk.
