One of the most iconic public parks in the Philippines spanning over 60 hectares and completely free to enter any day of the week. The Chinese and Japanese gardens, the relief map of the Philippines (kids love finding islands), and the open lawns are all great for little legs. Arrive early morning (7am to 9am) before Manila heat peaks — by midday temperatures regularly hit 95 degrees F and humidity is brutal. Wide paved paths are stroller-friendly and there are shaded benches throughout. Weekends bring food vendors, balloon sellers, and cultural performers which adds to the festive Filipino family atmosphere.
