The park itself is free and the hilltop offers the best panoramic view of the city skyline — great for a picnic. The Bloedel Conservatory inside charges a small admission (~$7.50 CAD adults / $4 CAD children) but is worth it for the free-flying parrots on a rainy day. Paved paths make it very stroller-friendly with well-maintained public washrooms near the main parking lot. Pair with the Riley Park Farmers Market on Saturdays in summer.
