Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and makes for an epic half-day adventure for older kids who enjoy history and sweeping city views. The Circuit B ticket (approx. 250 CZK / $11 USD per adult, kids under 6 free, ages 6-15 approx. 150 CZK / $7 USD) covers St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, and the Basilica of St. George — the most family-relevant stops. Arrive before 10am to beat tour groups; the castle grounds get very crowded by late morning especially in summer. Strollers are manageable on main paths but cobblestones in interior courtyards can be rough — a carrier is useful for toddlers. Skip the Toy Museum inside the complex as it is overpriced and most kids find it underwhelming.
