Housed inside the grand Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, this is one of the best rainy-day destinations in Philadelphia for toddlers and preschoolers. Highlights include a real 1908 carousel ($1 ride tokens), a water play area, a grocery store roleplay zone, and a full Alice in Wonderland exhibit. Strollers can be left in a dedicated parking area near the entrance as the interior spaces are easier to navigate without them. Paid on-site parking is available and driving or rideshare is the easiest approach as there is no convenient transit stop nearby.
