The lakeshore path is flat, partially paved, and absolutely magical — the turquoise water genuinely looks unreal to kids seeing it for the first time. Canoe rentals at the Fairmont boathouse are ~$175 CAD/hour for a large canoe, which splits well across a family. Parks Canada day pass required ($11 CAD/adult; kids under 18 free); main lot parking is paid ($21/day) — arrive before 8am or use the Lake Louise Ski Resort park-and-ride shuttle. The Fairmont Chateau has accessible public washrooms near the lobby.
