Entry to the park is completely free and it is open daily from 5am to midnight. The flamingo pond and aviary are the top highlights and kids are mesmerized by the pink birds wandering freely along the path. The outdoor playground near the swimming pool complex is well-shaded and has age-appropriate equipment for kids under 8. Go on a weekday morning to avoid weekend crowds and intense afternoon heat; the tree canopy provides decent shade throughout. Strollers handle the paved paths easily but a carrier is better for the hillside garden section.
