The lower canyon trail to the Lower Falls (1.1km one way) is paved with catwalk railings — accessible for most kids though not stroller-friendly past the first section. The Upper Falls add another 2.7km round trip and are worth the effort for families with kids 6+. Parking fills by 7am in July-August — use the Parks Canada shuttle from Banff townsite ($8/person return) to avoid the scramble. National park day pass required ($11 CAD/adult; free for kids under 18).
