Governor’s Beach on Grand Turk is a calm, protected stretch of white sand with very gentle surf that is ideal for toddlers and non-swimmers. The beach is free to access and has limited but usable public restroom facilities nearby. There are a few sea grape trees offering natural shade, but bring your own beach tent or umbrella for reliable cover. The water stays shallow for a long distance out, so toddlers can splash safely. Weekday mornings are the quietest time to visit — cruise ship days bring larger crowds so check the Grand Turk port schedule before going.
