Open Tuesday through Sunday 9am to 5pm; closed Mondays and some national holidays. Paths are paved and wide making strollers easy to navigate throughout most of the grounds. The zoo houses gorillas, giraffes, and red pandas which are reliable crowd-pleasers for younger kids. Visit on a weekday to avoid weekend school group rushes and pair it with the adjacent Ohori Park for a picnic lunch afterward.
