Eagle Beach consistently ranks among the best beaches in the Caribbean and is far less crowded than the hotel-packed Palm Beach strip to the north, making it ideal for families with young kids. The sand is wide, powdery white, and the water is calm and shallow near shore — perfect for toddlers and non-swimmers. A few beach shack vendors rent umbrellas and chairs for roughly $10-15 USD per item per day, which is worth it given Aruba’s intense sun; sunscreen and hats are non-negotiable here. Arrive before 9am on weekends to snag the best spots and strollers roll well on the packed sand near the water’s edge. Parking is free in a large lot directly off the main road with public restrooms and rinse stations on site.
