Centennial Park is free to enter and features a full-scale replica of the ancient Greek Parthenon — the only one in the world — which is genuinely jaw-dropping even for young kids. The park itself has a lake with ducks, wide paved paths, open grass fields, and a small playground, making it easy to spend 2-3 hours without spending much. Entering the Parthenon museum inside costs about $6 for adults and $4 for kids ages 4-17; inside is a 42-foot-tall statue of Athena that will stop kids in their tracks — absolutely worth the entry fee. Strollers are easy throughout the park and on the ground floor of the Parthenon; the upper gallery has stairs so leave the stroller at the base. Summer weekends bring food trucks and events to the park, but weekday mornings are calm and great for a relaxed visit.
