A lesser-known but beautifully preserved pre-Hispanic site ~19km outside San Miguel; entry 90 MXN adults / children under 13 free. Requires a 1.5km walk through semi-arid scrubland — bring solid shoes, water, and sun protection. Open Wed-Sun only with a mandatory licensed guide (included in entry fee). The remote, uncrowded setting gives older kids an Indiana-Jones-style archaeological experience.
