Ardastra is the only zoo in the Bahamas and is famous for its trained Caribbean flamingo marching show — little kids absolutely love it. Admission is around $20 for adults and $12 for children, and the zoo is open daily from 9am to 4:30pm. The flamingo show runs three times a day at 10:30am, 2:10pm, and 4pm — plan your visit around these times. Paved paths make it stroller-friendly throughout the grounds. Do not miss the boa constrictors and the native Bahamian parrots in the aviary, but skip the small reptile house if you have very young or fearful children.
