Anne’s Beach is a free, shallow, calm-water beach ideal for toddlers thanks to its protected tidal flats where the water rarely gets above knee height for small kids. A short elevated boardwalk winds through a mangrove preserve and is fully stroller-friendly on smooth planking. There are basic restroom facilities in the parking lot, which fills fast on weekends — arrive before 9am or after 3pm. The bottom is sandy and soft with minimal rocks, making it one of the more forgiving wading spots in the Keys for babies and toddlers. No food vendors on site so pack snacks and plenty of water.
